University of Dental Medicine, Mandalay (UDMM) was established in 1998 as Myanmar's second dental university, breaking Yangon's 34-year monopoly on dental education. Located at 62nd Street, Chanmyathazi Township, UDMM serves as Upper Myanmar's premier institution for training dentists and dental specialists.
UDMM offers a comprehensive 6-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, along with Master of Dental Science (MDSc) in eight dental specialties, Doctor of Dental Science (Dr.Dent.Sc), and PhD programs in Oral Medicine, Oral Biological Science, Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Periodontology.
