University of Medical Technology, Mandalay (UMTM) is Upper Myanmar's premier allied health university, formerly the Institute of Paramedical Science, Mandalay. Established in 2000, UMTM accepts 250 students annually across four specialized B.Med.Tech programs โ the largest intake among Myanmar's medical technology universities.
With instruction entirely in English and 60 students per program, UMTM serves Mandalay Division and surrounding regions, training essential allied health professionals for northern Myanmar's healthcare system through extensive clinical rotations at Mandalay's major hospitals.
