Myanmar Institute of Information Technology (MIIT) is a prestigious technological university located in Chanmyathazi Township, Mandalay. It was established in 2015 as a National Centre of Excellence through collaboration between the Myanmar and Indian governments.

Available Programs
MIIT offers two main undergraduate engineering programs.
Computer Science & Engineering
B.E. (Hons.) CSEA four-year program focused on computer science foundations, algorithms, software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data systems.
Electronics & Communications Engineering
B.E. (Hons.) ECEA four-year program focused on electronics, communication systems, networking, signals, circuits, and engineering applications.

Undergraduate Admission
Students must pass Myanmar's Matriculation Exam in the admission year, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. Admission is competitive and usually includes Matriculation marks plus an entrance test.
Admission Process
- Apply after Matriculation results with the required subjects.
- Sit for the entrance exam when announced by MIIT.
- Selection is merit-based and competitive.
- The academic year commonly starts in December.
- Program capacity is around 60 students per program from many applicants.
Postgraduate note: Master's admission usually requires a relevant bachelor's degree such as B.E. (Hons.) from MIIT, UCS universities, or equivalent IT, computer, electronics, or mechatronics degrees from Myanmar or abroad.
