University of Nursing, Mandalay (UNM) was established on 28th November 1998 as Upper Myanmar's first dedicated nursing university. Originally upgraded from a nursing training school in 1996, UNM now offers comprehensive 4-year Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc) and Master of Nursing programs. It serves as the premier nursing education hub for Upper Myanmar, producing approximately 100 professional nurses annually.
