About NYRDDC Sagaing
NYRDDC Sagaing, the Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree College (Sagaing), is a government-run higher education institution dedicated to uplifting ethnic nationality and border-area youth in Upper Myanmar. It operates under the Ministry of Border Affairs, alongside its sister campus in Yangon.
The college was established in the 2000-2001 academic year to address gaps in higher education access for youth from Myanmar's border regions and ethnic communities. It provides BA, BSc degrees, and AGTI diplomas, with graduates receiving government appointment letters.
Located along the Mandalay-Monywa Highway in Ohndaw Village Tract, Sagaing Township, it has produced over 2,500 degree-holders, focusing on producing civil servants for border development and ethnic areas.
